My name is Hunter Stroud, owner and founder of Strouds Custom Glides & Baits (SCGB). At 27 years old, I’ve spent my entire life in the outdoors—whether it’s chasing waterfowl, calling in spring gobblers, or spending long days on the water fishing. The outdoors isn’t just a hobby for me—it’s a lifestyle. I officially started SCGB in August of 2025, but the passion behind it was built long before that. Years of fishing and hands-on experience on the water pushed me to start creating custom painted baits

Uncle Tom’s is a custom lure painter offering custom paint color ways in your favorite crank bait styles. Some of our offerings include glide baits, lipless, square bill, deep divers and top water lures. Our designs target primarily bass species and will take custom orders.

Started this company as a junior in high school in 2020 and we have been growing since. We have custom baits as well as familiar favorites. I do quality soft plastics for fresh and saltwater, everything from trout to bass to big bull reds and more. I have gone through a lot of health issues and have almost died three times due to them while running this business and working a full time job.This is my dream and I work from 7am to 1-2am to make it happen. We grow more and more everyday with thousands of customers all over.
